Eco – Friendly graffiti removal services

Whenever possible we try to use only high pressure pure water or wet sandblasting for environmental reasons, we then step up out graffiti removal techniques by implementing hot water to our high pressure jet if we experience difficulty in removing graffiti with just cold water… only in extreme cases are we forced to use chemicals dependant on the surface and paint type, even then we try our upmost to use eco friendly and biodegradable chemicals… although this is not always possible unfortunately.

Graffiti can come in a wide variety of types and be applied to a wide variety of surfaces. The most common types of graffiti are aerosol spray paint, permanent marker pen, stickers and posters and almost any other medium that can leave a permanent or semi-permanent mark.

Removal Techniques

The type of graffiti, along with the substrate surface will determine the removal techniques employed to remove it.

For the majority of graffiti it is appropriate to apply a solvent based gel or liquid directly over the affected area. This is then left to dissolve the paint for 5-15 minutes, depending on the severity of the mark. The area is then rinsed with a low pressure water jet. Where shadowing remains, a further treatment is performed to remove as much of the graffiti as possible.
